How this estimate works
- The calculator converts start and end wall-clock times to minutes and adds 24 hours when the end is earlier than the start, allowing one overnight shift.
- Net daily minutes equal elapsed shift minutes minus the entered break; the break cannot be longer than the shift.
- Weekly hours equal net daily minutes multiplied by the entered number of similar workdays, then displayed as decimal hours and hours plus minutes.

Yes. When the end time is earlier than the start time, it treats the end as occurring on the following day. It supports one shift shorter than 24 hours.
Does it decide whether my lunch break is paid?
No. It subtracts exactly the minutes you enter. Check the applicable law, contract, workplace rules, and the duties actually performed during the break.
Does the weekly result calculate overtime?
No. It only multiplies one net shift by the number of similar days. Use the relevant payroll or overtime tool after confirming which hours qualify.
